Vaasan Yliopisto on Vaasan suomenkielinen ylipisto, jossa on neljä tiedekuntaa. Yliopistoa on perustettu vuonna 1992. Yliopiston päärakennus sijaitsee kilometrin parin päästä keskustasta, palosaaressa. Vuonna 2001 valmistui komea tiedekirjastorakennus, Tritonia. Yliopistossa on lähes 5000 opiskelijaa.

The University of Vaasa was founded in 1992. The main building is located in Palosaari, about two kms fron the city center. The university has about 5000 students.

Vaasan Yliopisto är det finskspråkiga universitetet i Vasa, med omkring 5000 studerande. Universitetet grundades år 1992. Huvudbyggnaden finns i Brändö, ett par kilometer från stadens centrum, och här finns också det nya vetenskapsbiblioteket Tritonia.
