Iatrogenic Colitis, Caused by Bowel Preparation with Sodium Phosphate

Drugs containing sodium phosphate are frequently used in bowel preparation before a colonoscopy
Sodium phosphage can cause small aphthous lesions, which will resolve in a few days without treatment
The main problem is that these aphthous lesions can be suspected to be caused by Crohns disease
So, this is not Crohns disease!
